Our first show to get cancelled was IWA OutdoorClassics and from then it was sadly obvious that others would follow. To bring the knife show experience up to social distancing spec we built The Olamic Table which aims to simulate the experience but online. During times of actual cancelled shows we’ll be holding live hangouts via Zoom as well as present new knives for sale at the show’s opening time. I own an Olamic Whippersnapper (from Olamic Table) and a Busker and these are two of my favorite knives in my entire collection. The action on Olamic Knives are like no other. The ceramic detent and bearings on these guys allow for a smooth, hydraulic-like flipping action. The fit & finish as well as the attention to detail is like very few other mid-tech/customs I have had the pleasure of owning. The cutting performance is very enjoyable due to the exceptional blade geometry, proper heat treat, and razor thin edges. The ergonomics are surprisingly very functional for such compact knives. I can say without hesitation that if you are considering purchasing an Olamic, then you will not be disappointed.
I recently got into Olamic Cutlery and OH WOW!!! I have 4 Wayfarer 247s and 1 Whippersnapper. 3 of the Wayfarer 247 are build your own. The other from a knife store , that one a Special Ed. All extremely smooth to operate, the fit n finish on point, the materials super quality. I really love the Wayfarer 247 cuz fits so nice in hand. If u decide to get one with Funky Holes or Acid Rain Holes, these add to the grip. Spend some time choosing ur options, once u get the pics of ur build u will see how cool Olamic puts it together. But once ur holding it in ur hands, like The Holy Grail of knives in ur hands! You WILL want more! Currently the Olamic artist n team getting creative with another Wayfarer 247 for me. I’m giving them full rain on it. Maybe they will post it on the website once finished…. hint…. sexy vampire.
