A series with animals always seemed like a good idea. As you can see below they make great subjects for carving on titanium. But we needed a way to unite them beyond just 'animal kingdom'. At around the same time Andrey did a piece that had a gold inlay for the eye. And boom, there it was: the Gilded Creatures series.
