Rainmaker Classic

Background
The Rainmaker was the second folding knife model to come out of our California shop. Released in May 2015 its first run was only about 100 pieces. Designed by Alexander Birykov, the idea was to have a straight knife but with character. Its slim handle carries well in the pocket and efficiently hides a hefty 4.125" blade. For the first run we used an interesting Nitrogen-based steel called Z-Finit and then switched to Carpenter's powder metals. Each knife has a unique serial number on the inside of the backspacer.
Construction
We use zero CNC machining to make the Rainmaker. After cutting blade and liner outlines, everything is done by hand or on a manual mill. Rainmakers are full custom and are built one at a time by our expert team in Visalia, CA. The knife's slimmer handle profile lends itself well to natural materials that often only come in a smaller size.
Ordering
There are tens of millions of ways to build a Rainmaker. Please take a look at the gallery below for some inspiration. To order one, fill out the build form (coming soon) or reach out to us by e-mail with what you had in mind. At the moment we are using CTS-204P blade steel. The liners are always titanium, but everything else can be customized. If you have a desired theme or favorite material, let us know and we can suggest a build that you're guaranteed to like.
