After working with an outside contractor for Gunkote application we decided to bring the process in-house. So far we are very happy with the results and can offer quicker turnaround time. We decided to use 2400 Series Gunkote (by KG Industries) after experimenting with a number of other coatings.
Just in time for Blade Show we completed a few knives with a brand new steel. What you’re seeing is our proprietary in-house High Carbon Vanadium Damascus but with Mokume-style layers of copper and nickel.
